Book Synopsis
Jade Carter, a New York journalist is revived by a century old vampire named Eleanor, after a corrupt businesswoman attempts to murder her for trying to expose her dark secrets. Eleanor welcomes Jade into her sisterhood of vampires and agrees to help her on her path of revenge, but not without promising to give back her human life. A promise that won’t be possible unless Eleanor kills the one man who turned her into a vampire.
About Me
Daniel Remy was born and raised in New York and had since moved to Tennessee. As a child, he never grew a liking to schooling. You could say it was probably due to his hatred towards math and unable to make friends and you would be correct. But it wasn’t just that. He remembered a time in middle school when everyone sat around in a circle and was asked what they wanted to be when they grew up. Everyone else had an answer—Astronaut, doctor, teacher, etc. As for Daniel he always struggled with this question, because he has never thought about having a career, he only wanted to live life. His favorite subject was English and he was always given compliments of how well he can read and write.
Going into high school, he became a little more unfocused. Leaning more into things that he liked doing such as video games and watching horror movies. He could be the next Randy in the Scream franchise for how much knowledge he had on some horror flicks. His love for horror came very sudden which surprised him because he remembered hating horror movies when he was younger and liking action films more than anything. During that period of being in his own world he came across the Grindhouse film directed by Quintin Tarantino (his favorite director) and Robert Rodriguez. He grew fascinated with the gratuitous violence and chilling scenes to the point where he decided to write short stories based off that niche. He showed these stories to some friends he had met online on Facebook with a lot of them enjoying them.
After long grueling years of not knowing what he wanted to do in life, it was in June 2023 where he realized he should make a career out of doing something he loves. After he finished college, he started writing manuscripts to see what would stick to him. He wrote a cyberpunk detective story that he did not finish because he felt like his heart was not in it. When he started writing Evil Dawning—Sisters of the Damned, something started to click. The more he wrote it out, the more real it became. As he takes on the duty of taking care of his autistic nephew, he writes stories on the side to make his dark fantasy book series “Evil Dawning” a reality for readers to enjoy.
